Castle Point Anime Convention is only a one-day convention with a relatively low attendance for the New York City area. No reliable sources have been posted to the page to establish notability since the notability warning was posted back in April 2010. PatrickD (talk) 16:58, 9 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
*Keep A convention bringing thousands of attendees and having realiable third party resources is notable to me. - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 01:35, 11 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete After reading below and looking for the sources here and turning up nothing I have changed my desision. - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 14:24, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete Lacks coverage by reliable, third-party sources. Since this convention is hosted by the Stevens Institute of Technology, the institute's student newspaper, The Stute, will have strong ties to the event and therefore cannot be used as third-party source. Also, The Stute's level of reliability is undetermined at this time, so it should be treated as a self-published source at best. The rest of the sources are links to convention directories or databases, which does not confer notability, and a press release from the convention. —Farix (t | c) 12:19, 11 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

- Delete I can't find any information published by reliable independent sources. --Kraftlos (Talk | Contrib) 20:25, 18 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete sources are a student newspaper and several directory sites which list every convention regardless of size or notability. Andrew Lenahan - Starblind 21:13, 18 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Just so this doesn't come up later, there is an ANN source for this but it appears to be a copy of the official press release, not their own coverage. --Kraftlos (Talk | Contrib) 10:36, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
